Is Fisco Insurance Brokers licensed?

Yes. Fisco Insurance Brokers Ltd is licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) of Kenya, which supervises all brokers, agents and insurers in the country. We only place business with IRA-licensed underwriters.

How fast can I get a quote?

Most personal lines quotes (motor, travel, domestic) are ready within a few hours on a business day. Complex commercial risks may take 1–3 days because we negotiate multiple underwriters. Submit a request online and we will call you back.

Can I pay my premium in instalments?

Often, yes. Many underwriters offer instalment plans, and premium financing is available for larger covers. M-PESA, bank transfer and cheque are all accepted. We will lay out the options with your quote.

What should I do immediately after a motor accident?

Accepted Answer

Ensure everyone is safe and call emergency services if needed. Do not admit liability. Take photos of the scene, vehicles and documents of the other party. Report to the nearest police station for an abstract, then notify us within 24 hours — we take it from there.

Why is marine cargo insurance bought locally in Kenya?

Kenyan law requires that imports be insured with locally licensed underwriters. Beyond compliance, a local policy means claims are handled in Kenya, in Kenyan courts, in your currency. We issue compliant certificates that integrate with customs clearance.

Is WIBA cover really mandatory for my business?

Yes. The Work Injury Benefits Act 2007 obliges every employer in Kenya to compensate employees for work-related injury or death, and to hold insurance for that liability. Penalties for non-compliance are significant. We can place compliant cover quickly, usually within a day.
